Step IV
- Take your left foot back with palms resting on the floor and inhale slowly.
- Keep the arms straight and hips pressed and slowly look upwards.
- Keep your attention of Swadhisthana (sacral energy centre ).
Step V
- While exhaling take the other foot back.
- Now keep both the feet together and raise your hips up like a mountain.
- Place the heels on the floor
- Point of concentration is Sahasrara charka (cranial energy centre ).
Step VI
- Place the knees, chest and chin on the floor with normal breathing. This is called Ashtanga namaskara position.
- Keep the hips and abdomen slightly raised from the floor making a small arch type shape.
- Point of concentration is Anahata charka (dorsal energy centre)
Step VII
- Inhale slowly and raise the upper part of the body.
- Keep your arms stretched, feet together and press the hips together.
- Point of concentration is Mooladhara charka (coccygel energy center)
Step VIII
- Exhale slowly and raise your hips up like a mountain.
- Try to keep the heels on the floor.
- Concentrate on the Sahasrara charka (cranial energy centre)
Step IX
- Bring your left foot in the front and inhale.
- Look up and at the same time press the hips downwards with palms resting on the floor
- Concentrate on Swaadhisthana charka (sacral energy centre)
Step X
- Exhale again and bring your left foot in the front between the hands.
- Keep the hands on the sides of the feet and keep the legs straight.
- Then touch the earth without bending your knees.
- Point of concentration is Manipura charka (lumber energy centre).
Step XI
- Slowly come in the standing position by raising the arms and inhaling slowly.
- Keep your hands on the head and bend slowly.
- Point of concentration is Vishudhi Chakra (cervical energy centre).
Step XII
Keep both the arms straight and fold your hands making namaskar position.
Point of concentration is Ajna charka (medullar energy centre).
