- Stand erect with feet apart about your shoulder width.
- Bring your arms in the front at level with your shoulders and paralled to the floor, palms facing down.
- Inhaling deeply, stretch your arms in the front.
- Exhaling, go down on your knees very slowly. Do not sit completely.
- In the final position, keep a little gap between the thighs and calf muscles. It is like sitting on an imaginary chair.
- Breathe normally and stay in the position for sometime according to your capacity.
- Inhaling, come up very slowly and drop your arms down.
Relax in horse pose; normalise your breathing and circulation before proceeding further.
Throughout the asana concentrate on the knees
Benefits: This asana strengthens the knees. The ankles become strong and the leg muscles develop evenly.
