- Stand with the feet together and arms by your side
- Bend your knee and bring left foot upward and wrap it on your right leg
- Then rest by keeping your left thigh on the right thigh.
- Cross your both arms by keeping left on right.
- Join the palm of your hands keeping the fingers straight.
- Remain in this posture till you complete your process of inhaling.
- Exhale and come to the normal position.
- Then repeat the same posture by keeping right thigh in the left and right arm on the left one.
- Perform this asana according to your capacity of holding breath.
The point of concentration is Mooladhara charka (coccygeal energy centre).
Benefits: It strengthens the legs, knees and ankles. It also tones up the nervous system and helps in relieving the cramps of the leg.
