The various steps of this asana are-
- Stand straight with legs apart, keeping a distance of your shoulder width between the feet.
- Keep your head slightly lowered.
- Let the arms hang along the body.
- Keep the eyes closed.
- Mentally watch your breathing and relax the body.
Point of concentration is Ajana charka (Medullar energy centre).
Benefits: This is a good asana for realxing while standing. Every asana in the standing posture should be followed by ashvasana asana for a brief period of time.
